I'm having like major success with this. I loved the benefits I got from the 3 hypnosis weight loss sessions but I thought the follow-on 12-week program was more money than I could afford but it was soooo worth it. I've lost 20 pounds now. Dear Karene,

- In a meta-analysis, comparing the results of adding hypnosis to weight loss treatment across multiple studies showed that adding hypnosis increased weight loss by an average of 97% during treatment, and even more importantly increased the effectiveness of POST TREATMENT by more than 146%. This illustrates that hypnosis works even better over time (Journal of Consulting and Clinical Psychology, 1996).
The bottom line here is that when hypnosis sessions are added to various weight loss programs, the results are always better — more than 146% better over the long term!

Warning: Be Cautious of Non-Certified Practitioners As with any great tool, you are bound to come across individuals or vague websites authored by people who haven't themselves had proper training in the field of hypnotherapy, but nonetheless will exploit its benefits to unsuspecting persons.
Hypnotherapy training and master certification, in particular is a specialty field which requires years of training in a clinical research environment and is earned only upon successful completion of an accredited institution.
